Plamen is a London-based music producer and audio engineer, working across production, mixing, mastering, recording, and immersive (Dolby Atmos) formats. Based in Hammersmith, his journey began under the mentorship of Grammy-winning mixing engineer Steve Fitzmaurice and Grammy-nominated Darren Heelis, experiences that shaped his technical approach and creative instincts. With a career spanning a wide range of musical styles, Plamen is known for his adaptability and attention to detail—collaborating with both major artists and emerging talent. His credits include work with global names like Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, Loreen, Anastacia, Beverley Knight, Daniel Bedingfield, Melanie C and Hikaru Utada, as well as a new wave of artists including Mae Muller, Jordan Mackampa, Reya, Caity Baser, Che Lingo, Jack Kane and Ellie Banke. Outside the studio, Plamen is also active in television, serving as a vocal producer and lead programmer on FOX TV’s prime-time music shows Name That Tune and Don’t Forget The Lyrics. His work merges deep technical expertise with a strong musical sensibility—delivering high-impact results across music and media.

Why Go Pink

Creating a Safe Space Pink Studios was founded with inclusivity in mind, offering a safe space for women and queer people who might not feel comfortable or welcomed in traditional music industry spaces. According to National Public radio, women only make up “12.7% of songwriters and 2.8% of the producers over the past decade”. While the numbers are increasing there is still a substantial gap, which pink studios aims to bridge. The aim is to amplify female and queer voices in music, not only as artists but also as the creators behind the music industry where you’re celebrated for who you are rather than forced to conform to industry norms. We offer personalized artist support. Unlike large labels who tend to claim ownership of masters, Pink Studios offer personal, tailored services for each artist. Artists are not just a “product” but individuals with unique stories and creative ideas. Pink Studios believe in telling your story as an individual while helping finding your sound, grow a community and flourish as both an artist and person while maintaining control and ownership.
